Comprehensive Financial Planning, including but not limited to....
*Done through our alliances with accounting, legal, and estate planning firms.
Although we provide consulting for various insurances, we do not sell insurance or receive any form of compensation for coordinating with outside insurance agencies.
We typically work with nice, ordinary folks that have been successful in their careers, as well as a large number of women that have been widowed.
The one thing they all have in common is that they want to simplify and coordinate their financial lives and focus on enjoying their time with the people and activities that they love.
Please don't hire us if...
Yes. As an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm (RIA) we are held to a fiduciary standard. That means we have to act in the best interest of our clients and disclose any conflicts of interest.
We are fee-only and never receive any form of compensation from outside firms...no commissions, referral fees, bonuses, trips, or t-shirts from any outside firms. We only get paid for advice.
In the event that we engage an outside firm for healthcare, tax, or legal consulting, Gibson Wealth Advisors may cover their fee or you may be billed directly for that service, depending on the scope of our relationship.
In the event that we refer a client to an independent insurance agent who ultimately sells them insurance, the agent will typically receive compensation from an insurance company but never from Gibson Wealth Advisors. We do not receive any form of compensation for any referrals or products.

Keep investment fees low, diversify, harvest tax losses & rebalance when appropriate.
We cannot predict, influence, or control the economy or financial markets...and neither can anyone else. We won't insult your intelligence by suggesting that we will even try.
If someone attempts to convince you that they have these super powers...run away...fast. If you believe them, that's on you.
We work as a team. Our goal is to have at least two advisors in every meeting.
Allen is typically involved in all financial planning meetings.
Vic handles most incoming client calls, requests, and transactions
Kylar makes sure that we follow up on our committments.
We like to meet at least twice a year to review progress toward your goals.
It also depends on what's going on in your life at any given time as you move through various ages and stages. Some years your financial life is really busy, others, not so much. We don't limit the number of times that we will meet with our clients.
We are not the cheapest firm and don't intend to be. To be the low-cost provider, we would have to eliminate many of the services that provide the most value for our clients.
If you're only interested in the cheapest firm or just investment management, we're not the right firm for you.
Your fee will depend on your situation and the services that we deliver. We typically won't know until after a detailed discussion and preliminary analysis of your situation and needs.
We have three different relationship options. Hourly, flat-fee, or a percentage of assets that we actually manage.
Our hourly rate is $350.
Our flat-fee option begins at $7,500.
Our percentage for Assets under Management ranges between 1.5% and .5%.
No. We are subject to oversight by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). You can visit FINRA's BrokerCheck website or the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure Website for information on advisors.
